Taught by a UK qualified teacher and experienced physics examiner who knows how students excel in GCSE and A-Level Physics.
Hi, I'm Louis! I'm a qualified teacher and specialist physics tutor. As an experienced Head of Physics in a successful secondary school in England, I've spent the last decade sharing my love of physics with students of all abilities.
My Background:
After graduating with a Master of Physics degree from Durham University I went on to teacher training as a physics specialist before being awarded Qualified Teacher Status. Since then I've taught GCSE and A-Level Physics to thousands of students. I'm also an experienced examiner for one of the main exam boards in the UK. Having marked thousands of exam papers I know the mistakes that students make.
Every student is different and I tailor the sessions to your needs. Whether it's a tricky topic that's proving difficult, or you're looking to develop your understanding across the subject, I can help! If you're lacking confidence and feeling overwhelmed? I can help with that too! Looking to smash the A*? You guessed it, I can help! Wherever you are in your journey through A-Level Physics, I can help you with that next step.
It's very common for students to find some parts of GCSE Physics tricky and, as one of your core subjects, it's essential that it goes well. GCSE Physics classes in most schools also tend to be quite large which, in spite of your teacher's best efforts, can make it difficult getting the individual support that you need. Completing regular small-group afterschool revision sessions addresses both these issues and is a great way to maximise your progress in GCSE Physics.
Although I am currently fully booked until the middle of June, I am now taking enquires from Y12 students to begin tutoring from the second week in June. To discuss if tutoring is right for you, request a free no-obligation consultation today.
I'll be shortly opening bookings for my September 2026 cohort of GCSE Physics revision classes. You can register your interest now. Group sizes are strictly limited.
